PRESIDIO – Thirty Presidio High School band students have advanced to the state competition. The Presidio High School Band competed in the 2012 Region 6 UIL Solo & Ensemble Contest in Monahans on Saturday, February 4. PRESIDIO – Presidio ISD has seen a smooth beginning to the school year this week, administrators said, with a slight increase in the student population expected this year.

Seven more students showed up for the first day of school this year than last, with 1,331 attending classes Monday.
