Lineup for Trans-Pecos music festival in Marfa released

MARFA — The line-up for the 12th Annual Trans-Pecos Festival of Music + Love in Marfa, Texas was announced Monday after months of anticipation.
The festival, which is held annually at quirky campsite El Cosmico annually will be held September 28-October 1 this year and offers a weekend of activities including live music, camping, workshops, art installations, a community cookout, sandlot baseball and more in the tiny artist enclave of Marfa, Texas.
This year’s lineup includes Lee Ann Womack, Robert Ellis, Erika Wennerstrom (of the Heartless Bastards), Tift Merritt, Jenny Lewis, Ron Gallo, Hurray for the Riff Raff, Sergio Mendoza y La Orkestra, Camilo Lara & Jay De La Cueva (of Mexican Institute of Sound), Meshell Ndegeocello, Nina Diaz, Thee Commons, Golden Dawn Arkestra and more.
Earlybird tickets for the festival went on sale two months ago and sold out within hours. Additional tickets for the three day fest were released on Monday for $220 or $275 for a three-day pass plus camping.
