Summer reading program returns to Marfa Public Library

May 18th, 2017 under Education

MARFA — It’s that time of year again! The Marfa Public Library is gearing up for Summer Reading and we’d love for your whole family to join us this year! This summer’s theme is “Build a Better World” and we’ve got books for all reading levels about people who have made the world a better place (and ways for regular people to do the same) just waiting to be checked out!

And in keeping with this theme of “Build a Better World” we want to focus on fun activities and education for our patrons, so we’re working on a schedule of events to do just that. Keep an eye out for our calendar of activities; it should be out soon and will have something for readers of every age!

This year’s summer reading will run from June 5-August 5, and registration is already open! Just drop by the library and fill out a form—it shouldn’t take more than a few minutes and you’ll be ready to go.

If you have any questions about Summer Reading or any of our other programs please stop by, give us a call at 729-4631 or email director@marfapubliclibrary.org. We’d love to hear from you!
