Cesar Federico Sanchezdied peacefully at home at the age of 87 on We Cesar Federico Sanchez died peacefully at home at the age of 87 on Wednesday, March 22, 2017 in Montebello, California.

He was born August 1, 1929 in Presidio, the son of Enriqueta and Federico Sanchez. He was preceded in death by his brother Edmundo Sanchez and his sisters Elsie Wager and Dora Walker.

He is survived by his devoted wife Nancy, two loving sons Alfredo and Cesar Saul, one grandchild Dario Patrick Sanchez and daughter-in-law Melissa Sanchez. He is also survived by a host of nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.

He was a devoted and dedicated husband and a wonderful loving father. He was an inspiration to his family.

Cesar served in the United States Marine Corps during the Korean War. He went on to graduate from Heald Engineering College in San Francisco, California. He worked At Rockwell International and Boeing for 35 years in Systems Engineering and Design. He worked on the Apollo Space program, the B-1 Bomber and the Space Shuttle program.

Mass was held at St. Benedict Church in Montebello the morning of April 4, followed by burial in Rose Hills Memorial Park, Whittier, California.
