FAR WEST TEXAS – Far West Texas-area Congressman Will Hurd, R-San Antonio, plans to be in Alpine next week to address issues regarding the Trans Pecos Pipeline, according to a news release from Brewster County Republican Party chair Monica McBride.
The meeting is set for 9am Wednesday, May 27 at the Vic & Mary Jane Morgan University Center, Sul Ross State University, Espino Conference Room.
“He (Congressman Hurd) would like to meet with landowners being affected and ways in which he may help,” McBride said.
This meeting is not just for people who are in danger of losing their property to eminent domain, but anyone whose property will devaluate due to the proposed process, she added.
