Newly elected congressman Pete Gallego of Alpine was sworn into office on Thursday, January 3 by U.S. House Speaker John Boehner. Gallego, a freshman member of the 113th Congress, which was gaveled into session on Thursday, spoke to C-SPAN about the upcoming session and his legislative priorities.
