Medley seeks third term in office
By JOHN DANIEL GARCIA
JEFF DAVIS COUNTY- Jeff Davis County Attorney Bart Medley is seeking to win his third term in office this election cycle. This is Medley’s first election running as a candidate in the Republican Party. Previously he has run and served as a Democrat.
He cites a shift in personal philosophy for his decision to switch political parties.
Medley, who considers himself, “tough but fair,” in the courtroom, is a graduate from Fort Davis High School and received a Bachelors Degree in Real Estate Finance and a Master’s Degree in Public Administration from Angelo State University. He earned his Law Degree from Texas Tech University, graduating fourth in his class with a Suma Cum Laude honor.
Medley, if elected, says he will continue to provide the citizens of Jeff Davis County with fair and consistent service, regardless of who winds up in the courthouse and their background.
Medley said he would continue to work with area law enforcement to keep Jeff Davis County safe and to provide a better future for the citizens.
“I feel like I’ve done a good job,” said Medley, “I ask for your support in the upcoming election, and together we can keep moving forward.”
