The Marfa Book Company will host a talk by artist Charles Stankievech on Thursday, September 27 at 8pm. Stankievech is the mind behind the light installation at the shade structure in downtown Marfa.
"Homeland Security (It's hard to find a good lamp)" is the name of the installation. (photos by ALBERTO HALPERN)
The installation will be up through October 9.
The artist flips the switch, turning on the lights, at 8pm every evening.
