Results announced for Espy golf tournament

ALPINE – The 18th Annual Jim Tre Espy Adult/Youth Golf Scholarship Tournament was held at the Alpine Country Club on May 5 and 6.

Forty-eight teams with youth ages ranging from 4 to 18 participated.  Three area high school seniors were awarded $500 scholarships. Those recipients are Ely Gallego of Alpine, Christopher Valenzuela of Alpine, and Lance Luera of Fort Stockton. The Fort Davis recipients will be announced at graduation.

The Espy family appreciates everyone who helps and participates each year.
