Lady Bucks play for state championship today

ALPINE, AUSTIN – The Alpine Lady Bucks softball team is one game away from being state champs.
Alpine will go head-to-head with the winner of the semifinal game between the Crawford Lady Pirates and the Danbury Panthers for the 2A state championship.
The state final is set for 6pm today at the Red and Charline McCombs Field on the University of Texas at Austin.
The game will broadcast live on KVLF AM-1240 and KALP-FM 92.7 and on www.bigbendradio.com.
Jerry Sotello will be calling the play-by-play.
On Wednesday, the Lady Bucks defeated the Mineola Yellow Jackets 4-3 in 8 innings during the semifinal game to advance to the final.
