Photo: Tonalism

An all-night, ambient music happening took place last Saturday on the grounds of El Cosmico. Tonalism, the dusk-till-dawn event that combines harmonious textures in a surround sound system with visual elements to create an immersive atmosphere and experience, was inspired by La Monte Young’s “Dream House” as well as the work of musicians and composers such as Terry Riley, Yoko Ono and John Cage. For more information, check out a news story here.
