Congressman in Alpine Saturday

ALPINE – U.S. Rep. Francisco “Quico” Canseco, R-Far West Texas, will host a town hall meeting at 6pm Saturday at the Alpine City Hall, 100 North 13th Street.

Canseco, a strong advocate for fiscal responsibility in the U.S. House of Representatives, said the event will give constituents of the 23rd District an opportunity to meet the congressman and express their views.

“I hope my constituents will take advantage of this opportunity to visit with me about the issues that are important to them firsthand,” he said. “I am humbled to represent my constituents in the U.S. House of Representatives, and opportunities to listen to their concerns, like town hall’s, ensure that I remain accountable to them.”
