Terlingua WordOff is Saturday at Starlight
TERLINGUA – This Saturday night at 7:30pm at the Starlight theater and restaurant, the current edition of the annual community reading will reel itself off on the main stage. It’s the +20th Terlingua WordOff.
This year spotlights storytelling, but of course, poetry, fiction, memoir, stand-up comedy, performance art, or some mashup of a mix are accepted. Anything goes but music; that’s the rest of the year.
The rule is original only. If you are shy, you can have someone else read or do it for you), and it being Terlingua, most anything goes. The one real rule is not to bore your audience.
The limit is five minutes per person, so we can get everyone in by a reasonable hour.
Sign up as you arrive. And of course if you want to just come and listen, welcome!
