Saturday, January 15th, 6 Pm
Talk: Dahr Jamail & Erika Blumenfeld: Dahr and Erik will be speaking about
their experiences on the Gulf coast following the BP Oil Spill.
Saturday, January 15th, 9 Pm
Music: Chris Sand, aka: Sandman the Rappin’ Cowboy, will be performing after
Dahr and Erika’s presentation. Certainly you’ll love this one. $5.
Thursday, January 20th, 6 Pm
Talk: David Raskin, professor at the Art Institute of Chicago, and author of
a new and very good book on Donald Judd (Yale, 2010) will be speaking about Judd’s
work. It’s Marfa, you better come.
Friday, January 21st, 6Pm
Reading: Marfa resident Nick Terry will be reading from a new book of poems
written by his mother, Patricia Terry, the well-known poet and translator.
Saturday, January 22nd, 6 Pm
Lannan Reading: Robin Romm, author of “The Mother Garden: Stories” and “The Mercy
Papers: A Memoir of Three Weeks” will be reading from her work.
