Payback all around the world?

January 28th, 2011 under West Texas Talk

In answer to Lineaus Hooper Lorette, yes, America is in a dilemma with illegal aliens from Mexico and many other places. I think all wars are bad but they have been around since the beginning of the human race and most are justified. What about World Wars I and II? Both were very bad. Both were justified.

Should we give America back to England? We fought them to be free. We fought and won. I guess Spain wants their part back, too. Spain owned California and part of America before Mexico did. Are they first or second in line to get America back?

I had kinfolk who died at the Alamo and San Jacinto. I thank them everyday for the war to get our independence. How about the Indians? They were here before the Mexicans. Where are they in the line to get their country back? Look at what America did to them.

They also lived in the Sierra Madras of Mexico. Should Mexico give that back to the Indians?

If you have land and want to give it to some illegal alien, you go right ahead and do that. I’ll keep my part of Texas. You can give yours back to anyone you choose. Anyone else out there want to give your land back?

Now to Douglas S. Otoupal, you don’t seem to know, you can’t work without a Social Security number or drive without a Drivers License and insurance. You can’t vote without a voter’s card. You can’t get credit, open a bank account, get utilities or get a passport without the proper identification. You may not have to have an ID or carry it but just try to live in the U.S. without one. Duh! That’s the mindset of Rick McLaren’s Republic of Texas. That group says we are not a state and don’t have to have a driver’s license and car insurance, and pay taxes. You all know where he’s at, prison. Just try to live and work in America without identification (ID). Would you let us all know how that works out for you? I don’t know about Douglas, but I’ll bet the rest of us carry most or all of our ID’s in our wallets or purses. Otherwise we would lose them every time we turned around.
